The business consultancy side of Alexander Consultants involves engaging in one off bespoke assignments with clients. Often it is working with them and guiding them through existing or upcoming projects. Alternatively, it is working with a department within the business, or the business as a whole, particularly smaller concerns, developing an initiative or operational change.

Our basic tenets are twofold. One, we will leave you better placed than you were before. Two, you will enjoy the time you spend with us. The first exemplifies the value we add, the second describes our attitude whilst we are guests in your organisation.
Two examples probably sum things up best. Example one is a prestigious hotel and conference centre in the middle of England. By examining their operation and applying a simple statistical analysis we saved them £50k a year, every year, for ever.
The second is a retail organisation. There were issues with management style throughout the business. As a result of top down consultations and a series of workshops with all staff a Management Charter was established. Beyond this they replicated the process themselves to produce a Customer Charter. They didn't need us any more. We had given them the tools to work with. Sometimes in consultancy you work to make yourselves redundant.
We either charge a daily rate, plus expenses, or (our preferred option), a reduced daily fee, including expenses, plus a percentage of demonstrable benefits achieved. If we don't succeed, you don't pay the full fee.
